StarWing, also known as Star Fox in some regions, is a rail shooter video game developed by Nintendo and Argonaut Software, and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). 1993. This is the first game in the Star Fox series.
In StarWing, the player controls Fox McCloud, a pilot of the Star Fox Corps, on a mission to save the Lylat System from invasion by Andross, a mad scientist. The player controls Fox in a rocket plane and must destroy enemies, dodge obstacles, and complete objectives to progress in the game.
StarWing is considered one of the pioneers of rail shooter video games and was praised for its impressive 3D graphics, powered by the Super FX chip. The game is also highly appreciated for its engaging gameplay and engaging storyline.
