Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo (Vietnamese: Sakurasou’s Pet Girl) is a visual novel developed by Frontwing and released on June 25, 2012 for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). The game was adapted into a 24-episode television anime by J.C.Staff and aired from October 9, 2012 to March 25, 2013.
In the game, the player takes on the role of Sorata Kanda, a first-year student at Suimei College. Sorata is forced to move to Sakurasou, a dormitory for people with problems, after adopting a stray cat. At Sakurasou, Sorata meets other residents, including Mashiro Shiina, a genius painter who is incapable of taking care of himself; Nanami Aoyama, a talented but shy swimmer; Ryuunosuke Akasaka, a genius but eccentric writer; and Jin Mitaka, a talented but lazy game designer.
The game follows Sorata as he tries to integrate with the other residents of Sakurasou and help them overcome their problems. The game also explores the relationship between Sorata and Mashiro, for whom he begins to develop feelings.
