Red Steel is a first-person action video game developed by Ubisoft and released for the Wii in 2006. The game was one of the first to be developed exclusively for the Wii and was used to showcases the usability of the Wii Remote.
The game is set in a fantasy future, where players control a warrior named Akira. Akira is sent to a small village to investigate the disappearance of a friend. However, Akira soon discovers that the village is threatened by an armed criminal gang.
The game is divided into two main parts: combat and exploration. During battle, the player uses the Wii Remote to control Akira’s movements. Players can use swords, guns and other weapons to fight enemies. During the exploration portion, the player uses the Wii Remote to control Akira to move around the environment.
Red Steel received positive reviews from critics, who praised its graphics, gameplay, and usability.
