Call of Duty: Vanguard is a first-person shooter game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. As the 18th installment in the Call of Duty series, the game officially launched on the PlayStation 4 platform in 2021, taking players back to the World War II era.
Story and characters
Set in World War II, Vanguard tells the story of four main characters from four different countries. Arthur Kingsley (UK), Polina Petrova (USSR), Wade Jackson (USA), and Lucas Riggs (Australia) team up to form Task Force One, to prevent World War III.
