Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror is a stealth third-person shooter video game developed by Bend Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 2. It is the fifth installment in the Syphon Filter series and is the sequel to 2004’s Siphon Filter: Omega Series.
The story of Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror begins when Gabe Logan and Lian Xing of the IPCA are investigating a terrorist group called the Red Section. The Red Section attacked an oil refinery owned by KemSynth Petroleum, and Logan and Xing were sent to stop them.
Logan and Xing quickly discover that the Red Section is planning to use a secret weapon known as Project Dark Mirror. Project Dark Mirror is a satellite system capable of controlling human minds. If the Red Section succeeds in activating Project Dark Mirror, they will be able to control the entire world.
Logan and Xing must stop the Red Section from activating Project Dark Mirror. They will have to travel to many locations around the world, from New York to Paris to Tokyo, to find and destroy those behind this conspiracy.
