Age of Empires II – The Age of Kings is a real-time strategy game developed by Ensemble Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios. This game was originally released on PC in 1999 and was later ported to various platforms, including PlayStation 2 in 2001.
In Age of Empires II, the player will be transported into a world of history and build and manage an empire from the medieval period to the early 16th century. The game offers a variety of cultures to choose from, including Spain, Great Britain, France, Korea, and Japan, and players will have to build the empire’s economy, gather resources, and develop science and an army to defend and attack opponents.
In single-player mode, players can participate in many historical campaigns, including famous conflicts such as the Crusades and the Battle of Hastings. In addition, the game also offers a multiplayer mode, allowing players to connect with each other to compete and share resources.
The graphics and sound of Age of Empires II on PS2 are of good quality, however, controlling the game on PS2 can be a bit difficult compared to the PC version due to the lack of a keyboard and mouse to control. However, with a variety of features and content, Age of Empires II is still a strategy game worth playing on the PS2 platform.
