Skylanders Swap Force is an action-adventure video game developed by Vicarious Visions and Beenox and published by Activision. It is the third main game in the Skylanders series of video games and toys, following 2012’s Skylanders: Giants, which is a direct sequel to 2011’s Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure. The game was released on October 13, 2011. 2013 for Wii, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PlayStation Vita.
In Skylanders Swap Force, players will explore Skylands, a colorful fantasy world where Skylanders, magical creatures from around the world, fight against Kaos, an evil ruler. The game introduces a new feature called Swap Force, which allows players to combine two Skylanders together to create new characters with unique abilities.
On the Wii platform, Skylanders Swap Force can be played with the Wii Remote Plus or Wii U GamePad. The game uses the Wii Remote Plus’s NFC feature to interact with the Skylanders.
