Gothic Classic is an action role-playing game developed by THQ Nordic and released in 2001. A Switch port was released in September 2023.
In the game, the player will play the role of an unnamed hero, exiled to the rock mine, a forced prison mine on the island of Khorinis. The player’s goal is to escape the mine, but to do that they need to survive in a dangerous world and seek help from different factions.
Gothic Classic is known for its large and vibrant open world, complex character development system, and engaging storyline. The Switch port has improved graphics and added several new features, including:
