In FRONT MISSION 1st: Remake, players will control an army of Wanzers, giant fighting machines, to fight in a war between two major powers, the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and the Unified Continental States (U.C.S. ).
The game’s plot begins in the year 2090 when a reconnaissance squad of the O.C.U. ambushed by U.C.S. on a mission to investigate a weapons factory. This event led to a full-scale war between the two nations, leaving Huffman Island engulfed in fire and smoke.
The game features turn-based tactical gameplay, with the player having to control his Wanzers to fight enemies. Players can customize their Wanzer with different parts and weapons to suit their play style.
