Exit the Gungeon is a “roguelike” video game developed by Dodge Roll and published by Devolver Digital. It is the sequel to the game Enter the Gungeon. The game was initially released on iOS and PC platforms in September 2019 and has since expanded to other platforms such as Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
In Exit the Gungeon, the player continues his journey in the challenging and dangerous world of Gungeon. The gameplay of the game focuses on rooms containing different floors, in which the player must face waves of enemies and avoid pitfalls.
The main goal of the player is to progress far through the floors, collect new weapons and equipment, and defeat tough leaders to finally have a chance to escape the Gungeon. However, the game offers faster gameplay and guides the player to deal with difficult situations in an interesting way.
Exit the Gungeon retains Enter the Gungeon’s unique and fun pixel art style, creating an engaging and challenging experience for players. The game received critical acclaim for its distinct gameplay and fun.
