CEIBA is an upcoming action-adventure title for the Nintendo Switch, developed by Valkyrie Initiative and scheduled for release in 2024. The game takes players on an emotional journey of self-discovery. of a little girl named Liana, who lives in a fantasy world inspired by Mayan culture.
Liana is an orphan girl living in a small village deep in the jungle. Liana’s village is protected by a giant tree called Ceiba, believed to be the abode of the gods. However, one day, Ceiba began to wilt and Liana was tasked with finding a way to save the tree.
Together with her close companion, Kimo, Liana will explore mysterious forests, solve difficult puzzles, and face dangerous creatures. On this journey, Liana will gradually discover the secret about herself and her hidden strength.
CEIBA is a 2D adventure game with colorful hand-drawn graphics. Players will control Liana to move through levels, interact with the surrounding environment, and solve puzzles to pave the way to continue.
