Nobunaga no Yabou is a series of real-time strategy simulation video games set in Sengoku period Japan. The game was developed by Koei and first released in 1983 for the NEC PC-8801 computer. To date, the game series has more than 40 titles released on various platforms.
Nobunaga no Yabou NDS is the Nintendo DS version of the series. The game was released in 2009 in Japan and in 2010 in North America.
In Nobunaga no Yabou NDS, players take on the role of a daimyō (Japanese feudal lord) and attempt to unify Japan. The game has many strategic elements, including army building, economic development, and diplomatic negotiations.
