The game is based on the novel The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien and is a prequel to the game The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
In the game, the player takes on the role of Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit living in the town of Shire. Bilbo is recruited by a group of dwarves to help them reclaim their treasure from the dragon Smaug. Players will accompany a group of dwarves on their journey, exploring new lands and fighting dangerous creatures.
The game features action role-playing gameplay, with the player able to control Bilbo by moving around the world, fighting enemies, and solving puzzles. Players can use a variety of weapons and magic to fight, and they can upgrade Bilbo’s power by collecting experience points.
