Batman Vengeance is an action-adventure video game developed by A2M and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released it for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Windows in 2001. It was the first Batman game released for the GameCube.
In the game, players control Batman in an origin story, set after the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum. Batman must stop Bane, who has escaped from prison and kidnapped Commissioner Jim Gordon.
The game is played from a third-person perspective and focuses on hand-to-hand combat. Players can use a variety of weapons and martial arts skills to take down enemies. Batman can also use his devices, such as the Batclaw and Batarang, to solve puzzles and explore the environment.
