Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 is a skateboarding video game developed by Neversoft and published by Activision in 2000 for PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast and Microsoft Windows. It is the sequel to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, and the second installment in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series.
The game features 26 playable characters, including professional skateboarders such as Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Rodney Mullen, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Bam Margera and Bob Burnquist. Players can choose their character and participate in skateboarding competitions in several different locations, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago.
The game has many different game modes, including “Career” mode, “Free Skate” mode, and “Multiplayer” mode. In “Career” mode, players must complete missions to level up and unlock new characters and locations. In “Free Skate” mode, players can freely explore locations and perform skateboarding tricks. In “Multiplayer” mode, players can compete with friends or other players online.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 is a highly rated skateboarding game, and is considered one of the best skateboarding games of all time. The game has sold more than 14 million copies worldwide, and has won numerous awards, including IGN’s Best Video Game of the Year Award.
