The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is an action role-playing video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 system. It is a direct sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and is published by Nintendo. First released in 2000 in Japan and North America, and in 2001 in Europe.
In Majora’s Mask, the player controls Link, an adventurous boy searching for his Ocarina of Time and his horse Epona, which were stolen by Skull Kid, a boy controlled by Majora’s ghost mask. This mask is plotting to control the moon to crash into Link’s world in 3 days.
Link must use the Ocarina of Time to go back in time and prevent this terrible collision. In the process, he will have to explore the land of Termina, a world parallel to Hyrule, and help its inhabitants.
Majora’s Mask was highly praised for its gameplay, story, music, and world design. The game has sold more than 7.6 million copies worldwide, and is considered one of the best video games of all time.
