Pac-Man 99 is a maze video game with battle royale elements, developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for Nintendo Switch. It was released through the Nintendo Switch Online service in 2021.
In Pac-Man 99, players control Pac-Man in a maze and eat round candies to accumulate points. When Pac-Man eats an energy candy, he can eat ghosts. When a player is eaten by a ghost, they are eliminated from the game.
There are 99 players in each Pac-Man 99 match. Each time a player is eliminated, a grid is created around that player’s Pac-Man. The grid will harm other players’ Pac-Mans if they touch it.
The last player remaining in the game wins.
