Star Wars – Battlefront II on the PSP platform is a third-person shooter game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by LucasArts in 2005. It is the second installment of the Battlefront series where the player will be brought into the war between races in the Star Wars universe.
In the game, players will have the opportunity to control famous characters in the Star Wars universe such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, and many others. Players can participate in online multiplayer matches against the PSP’s ad-hoc network, or play alone in story mode.
In the story mode, the player will start as a Stormtrooper and progress to becoming another famous character. The game takes place at two different points in Star Wars history: the first period, from Episode II – Attack of the Clones to Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, and the latter, from Episode IV – A New Hope to Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.
The game has beautiful graphics and vivid sound, with a diverse weapon and vehicle system, allowing players to fully experience the exciting and dramatic battles in the Star Wars universe. However, the game also received some mixed opinions from the gaming community about the poor defense mechanism and the difficulty of using some vehicles.
