Spectral Souls – Resurrection of the Ethereal Empires is a tactical role-playing game developed by Idea Factory and released for the PlayStation Portable in 2011. The game is a sequel to Spectral Souls II, released for the PlayStation 2 in 2005.
The game is set in the world of Neverland, where humans and elves are at war with each other. Players will choose one of three factions to participate in the war, including:
Humanity: This faction represents the righteous faction, fighting to protect peace and freedom for humanity.
Goblins: This faction represents the villains, wanting to take over the human world.
Republic: This faction is a neutral faction, wanting peace between the human and elven factions.
In the game, players will have to control their characters to participate in turn-based tactical battles. Each character has unique skills and abilities, which the player can use to win the battle.
The game has 2D graphics with an anime style. The game’s music was composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto, a composer known for works such as Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre.
