Pokemon XD: Yami no Kaze Dark Lugia is a role-playing video game developed and published by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005.
It is the sequel to Pokemon Colosseum, and the second installment in the Pokemon “XD” series of games.
The game is set in Orre, a land ravaged by Team Cipher, a criminal organization trying to use Pokemon to take over the world. The player takes on the role of a Pokemon trainer new to Orre, and is tasked with stopping Team Cipher.
The game has some new points compared to other Pokemon games. First, players can only catch Shadow Pokemon, which are Pokemon controlled by Team Cipher. To capture a Shadow Pokemon, the player must defeat it in battle and then use a dispel to remove Team Cipher’s control.
Second, the game has a new leveling system, allowing players to level up their Pokemon faster. Third, the game has several new features, such as the ability to use Pokemon Shadow in battle.
Pokemon XD: Yami no Kaze Dark Lugia was highly praised by critics, and is considered one of the best Pokemon games ever released. The game has sold more than 2.4 million copies worldwide.
